About Us
CHEER STARS is a cheerleading Club based in Cape Town. We Coach Schools and teams throughout Cape Town at Primary, High School and Tertiary levels. If you are interested in joining a team or having cheerleading at your school please give us a call.

COMPETITIONS
Cheerleading is an all year round sport. Our competition season takes place throughout Term 1 and 2 of the year with our National Championships falling in the beginning of July. During term 2 and 3 our teams Cheer for sport matches at their respective schools or tertiary institutions.

PROVINCIAL AND NATIONAL TRIALS
Athletes who qualifiy to try for Western Province Trials will do training throughout term 3, Western Province trials are generally held in September/October through the WPMCA. Athletes eligible for National trials will be generally in December through SAMCA.

Fish Hoek Primary Western Province Champs in Primary School Division;
Fish Hoek Primary School placed 3rd in All Girl Team Division and Partner Stunts Division;
2015
Fish Hoek Primary School Western Province Champions in Primary School Division 2015;
Fish Hoek Seniors Western Province Champion of Champions in High School Division 2015;
Fish Hoek Primary School 3rd place at South African National Championships in All Girl Team Division;
Fish Hoek Primary School 3rd place at South African National Championships in 5 Girl Stunt Division;
Fish Hoek Primary School 2rd place at South African National Championships in Partner Stunts Division
1 Male and 3 female Junior Athletes recieved Western Province Colours
2 Males and 3 females Senior Athleters recieved Western Province Colours

Fish Hoek Primary School and The American International School tied for 1st place atWestern Province Champions in Primary School Division;
Fish Hoek Seniors Western Province Champion of Champions in High School Division;
Fish Hoek Primary School 4rd place at South African National Championships in All Girl Team Division;

WHAT IS CHEERLEADING?
Cheerleading is a challenging sport that requires athleticism, strength, flexibility, coordination, and dedication. In addition to its physical advantages, cheerleading is also a social, team-based activity that can help improve self-confidence and leadership skills. Cheerleading is an intense physical activity for male and females, which contains many components of gymnastics tumbling, dance, jumps, cheers and stunts.
WHY DO CHEERLEADING

including teamwork, discipline, and communication. Squad members must rely on each other for the effectiveness of eoutines, as well as ensuring each other's
